Thanks for the apology Destroyer even though there was no harm done. . . I gave you the benefit of the doubt and attribited your feelings with a good sense of humor. I understand your thoughts anyhow. I used to run a Jeep Wrangler rental business here in the Fabulous Florida Keys hence my sreen name and or e-mail address. Economy and real estate crash here put that to rest. I did acquire the boat for what I thought to be a great deal considering the newer power, and with the intent to sell for a profit despite the I/O set-up not being the most practical for the Keys and or South Florida. That is why I really appreciate being here as I could see this baby going North to fresh water and or to a family that may have grew up with one of these classics. The Keys are pretty busy now with the snow birds, so not the worst time to sell here. Took her on a sea trial today (it's sunny and in the 70's here!) and she really runs out nice despite a hesitant idle. Going to replace the water seperator / fuel filter and go from there as the boat had not been run off the trailer in a couple of years. May need a carb cleaning? Thanks again for the thoughts on all!
