A HEMI is any engine with a semi hemispherically shaped combustion chamber. In other words if you were to take a ball and cut it in half, the combustion chamber in the head is shaped like that. If you want to get technical about it, most all of your overhead camshaft 4 bangers in front wheel drive cars are HEMIS

. The current 5.7L and 6.1L HEMIS are still cam in block pushrod engines, not OHC(over head camshafts). DODGE makes a good truck and powertrain, the reason they are so cheap is there interiors. The newer DODGE's are known for squeeks and rattles after they get some age on em, and this brings down the resale value.
