That is a good suggestion and I will certainly try that if this doesn't work, but for a good many reasons I believe the database server is at the heart of our problems.
Our problems here began when the server farm swapped out the physical machine that this site resides on with a newer machine. We have been using vB 3.8.2 for quite some time now with no problems until the techs at the farm started tinking with things.
