Destroyer- we are going to get a half ton 4x4 extended cab later this year for towing when my 5 yr old goes into public school- right now around $1000/mo for two in daycare at the same time! Wife loves her '99 GP though and we will keep that, she hates SUV's and minivans, and lucky for me I have a wife that does not insist on "keeping up with the Joneses" with new cars and subdivisions.

Bah... What do the Joneses know?... Bet they don't have a V20! Daycare sucks... been there, done that... you have my sincere sympathy. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab that I use for work. Great truck. Sounds like you picked a winner in the wife dept.
