When in doubt pull it out. If you are not 100% certain if the gas was mixed properly and treated with a stabilizer, I would start over with fresh fuel and oil. And a fuel water seperator is always a good idea, and make sure and use a 8 micron or smaller filter media to prevent water from getting through.
