I just remembered a slight problem we had when we changed mine from 20 to 25".
The back splash prohibited us from drilling the mounting holes in the regular location for the lower bolts.
We ended up working this problem out with the jack plate by drilling the lower holes a little bit lower than normal and drilled the upper ones in the correct location.
This will prohibit the normal range of adjustment if mounting the outboard straight to the transom but worked out fine with the jack plate.
Measure yours and see if you might have any problems getting the fender washers below the back splash.
The "normal" mounting holes locations for the outboard
from the top of the transom are at about 2" and 9 3/4".
