Ive got ta replace the transom and bottom on a Carolina 16ft wooden boat for a friend of mine. They're built of plywood and mahogany I think, and last many years if taken care of. These boats were built by two old fellas in a small shop in Lumberton N.C. I used Gorella glue and lots of brass screws when I rebuilt the transom in mine about 10 years ago and its held up great. Just wondering if yall think anything would work better and last longer.
