Dang! I guess I really didn't know how lucky I was whenI almost lost my cap. Here's my story. I gassed up here by my house. I drove about 50 miles to the launch, launched the boat, drove 5 miles twisting and turning down the river to the camp, and unloaded the boat. The next day we were sitting on the porch and I look over and to my horror I see the gas cap missing. I walked over and there it sits in the groove of the rail for the bimini top. Somehow, it managed to ride the whole way bouncing and turning and never jumped out. I'm thinking about getting a peice of metal rod a little wider than the filler hole and drilling a small hole in the cap and attaching a chain to the cap and rod so that it will just hang there while I'm gassing up.
