Here we go finish at last, Its cold and I quit at 6 PM its freezing :) 60 degrees ! Don't laugh ! Can't believe I am saying this..
I modify the Bow rail to follow the anchor platform like I have seen it on boats with this kind of setup. Angle grinder with a cutting wheel used to cut the pipes it cuts like butter !
As for the 90 degree elbow in the middle of the rail, I will build a mount for a 360 remote flood light or spotlight whatever its called, sometime in the future when the price is right :) The wires will be fish through the rail into the cuddy for a clean look.
I use the Bow rail I purchase a while back from a member on this site about two years ago..
Notice all the screws are mounted completly through the platform and the deck with aluminum plates inside for extra strength.
I will never have a chain or rope attach full time, to protect my gel coat, using a clip I will connect the rope prior to launching (stay tune one of my co-captains will launch it without any rope attach I just know it )
Opps I just notice I did not remove the plastic tie strap I use to secure the anchor during the installation.
As for the 12" cleat it will be handy when trying to lace a 1/2 " rope ? Paid $60 at West on ebay its 2 for 35 but hey I was in the get it done mode !
And YES I hate working with 5200 ! Only acetone cleans it !
Hey my lights am I good ? Not sure now looking at it ..
Seat completion next !
Bow Rail before the modification
Picture from a year ago ..Observe the teak before and after..

Please excuse the dust , I did now clean up after my work my bad, Yes 5200 still showing two left screws !
