The handrail and spindles on the deck look like wrc but the decking looks like composite. Looks great and lasts but lacks the character of the real stuff imo.

Its some sort of fir ,probably hemlock , fairly soft wood and yes the rails were western red cedar and the decking is Azek composite , for this project i think it was a good solution.
