For cooking, I put a little olive oil in a pan and then sea salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and/or rosemary, then fry till done.
If you mean prepare for catch, I know we were trolling the lures around 2 mph at a depth of around 135 ft.
I forget what the trout was caught on, but the salmon was caght using the lure pictured in my hand.
