I wanted so badly to go with the Sea Board but the cost was outrageous. The cheapest I could find was two pieces on Ebay which would have cost me $131.00 plus shipping cost of $25.00. I actually got the idea for the decking boards on here believe it or not. Someone posted a picture of a guy who did the entire floor with decking boards and that's when the lightbulb went on in my head! It was so inexpensive to make and just my time to cut to length and put together. They are rugged as heck, there was two of us fatties standing on one hatch and it never budged. Somewhat on the heavy side but it is what it is as they say.

That's what I love about this place...someone's always comin' up w/another way to skin a cat!!...those hatch-lids look GREAT and I bet they don't heat up like my grey Starboard does...good work, Shawsee
