Bigshrimpin/MJ...long ago on my old gas-suckin' Rude, my outboard tech told me the following; when idling/trolling, tilt the motor a little forward so the "top" of the cylinders are up instead of down...he went on to say(as we all know), 2 strokers never burn ALL the oil in the cylinder on firing...tilting the motor up a bit reduces the amount of unburned oil building up in the "top" of the cylinder (which is where the spark-plug is) thus reducing fouled plugs.

After he told me that, I started tilting the old Rude up as he suggested and never was bothered w/fouled plugs again...have you guys ever heard this from anywhere else?...
