It just made sense to work on it there. Well, we cleaned the carbs and I bought an el cheapo wal-mart H2o filter thinking it was a temporary move until I could get a new racor filter. I took the racor filter and sight bowl off and left it at the shop. Time passed and I put the filter on the back burner. Well I finally got around to wanting a new racor but my buddy's dad threw it away! So, now not only do I not have the sight bowl, but I don't know what model # filter to replace it with. I want to go back with the sight-bowl unit because you can drain them really easy without having to spin the entire filter off. I'm hoping someone can say, "oh you need this model # for your Yamaha." Please say its true.

BR...I thought the base on the Racors was standard to the Racor filters...in other words if you had a Racor filter on one of their bases, a standard replacement should fit...are there any numbers on the base??...contact Racor...
