What are some things i should look for as far as common problems with this model any advice would be helpful thanks..

First I would consider the motor a throwaway and have in mind a replacement from the start..if ya get into that frame of mind, check for soft spots in the floor (walk around on it)...if it's been "bow up" for 10 years, chances are the floor in the stern is soft...if the floor's good, check the transom...if the motor is tilted up, slowly apply your weight to the foot and listen to what you hear..no noise indicates transom is good...lots of snap-crackle-pop indicates weak transom which will have to be replaced...
If all that passes, assume you'll have to pull the gas tank and at least clean it out or replace it...skipping this could lead to suckin' a bunch of crap into whatever motor you go with...
What kind of shape the trailer?...if it's in good shape, it'll probably only need tires...if that's the case, that in itself is worth $1,000...
Post up some pictures so we can see too...
BTW...not to be a
wise-@$$, but 90' indicates a ninety foot boat...'90 indicates it was made in 1990...you really threw me for a minute...
