Besides they taste like crap and smell like hell if you run over them and kill them.
Just kidding, we usually see them in the St. Johns at the bottom of Lake George when we go early summer Bream fishing around Hitchens Creek or Blue Creek. Some have the propeller scars, some have numbers tattooed and occasionally, we will see one without any identifying marks!
They will be 3' wide sometimes, don't know how long but look 12 to 14'.
And the 15th century sailors must of been horney as hell to even think of confusing them with mermaids!
