Default got started

had some time to work on the v20 the floor was soft around the fishbox so i figured I would have to replace the whole floor and possible stringer repair. The previous owner said he paid someone to replace the whole floor about 5 years ago and they soon went out of bisiness. They did not use marine plywood and inside the fishbox where the plywood floor covers part of the Well it was raw plywood exposed to constant moisture causing it to rot from underneath.. I cut back the glass to where it got solid again and opened it up. Based on what i saw I decided to cut the whole deck out.The deck was detached from stringers 1-1/2"drywall screws were used far and few between to hold ply to stringers .If i'm gonna fix this thing i'm gonna do it once. When The floor was done a new fuel tank was put in and the access panel was eliminated I removed the tank to find that it was foamed in place and the foam was completly saturated under the tank & about 1/3 of the way up.The foam smelled of gas . There is .50 cents worth of pvc under the tank for transferring water from fore to aft.It had a large crack in it causing water to enter the tank cavity and saturate the foam causing the tank to pit and leak. Conclusion some stringer replacement/repair.Fuel tank, hoses, hardware replacement.Replace deck with marine plywood re glass deck.About $2K and should have a solid boat ready for repower.
