I have a 23' Sea Ox heavy boat!! and all i have is a 175 and it gets great gas and I still cruz at 25+ knots top out at 33 knots.
How many days you think you going to be flying in your boat?? Lay off the throttle, the motor will last longer you beat the boat less and yes you will save gas!

Same here! I had the chance to power a V-20 with whatever, new the V6 2 strokes were all within a few hundred bucks at the time. I chose a 150 because it was really adequate, you can argue that 46 mph is slow but that'll give you a 30 mph cruise. A boat used offshore can seldom cruise at 30, if you are an inland guy go with the 200.
