A heck of a time was had by all. Me and Justin put in and camped out Friday PM about 10:00. We couldn't stand it any longer and had to get down there.

A few highlights:

Us running aground "looking" for Sand Island in the dark. Ive NEVER run up on a sandbar but theres a first time for everything I reckon.

I was anchoring the boat back up at about 2am and stepped off the stern onto the beach that wasn't there. (it was about 8 foot deep best I can recall)....and COLD!

The campfire gathering Saturday night was EPIC ...loved it!!!

We had about 12 folks total show up.

We caught roughly 20 ground mullet, 3 redfish and 2 big cownose rays.

Not so many pics of the campfire/sausage cooking/beer/whiskey drinking HANG Saturday night cause the boat held my camera anchored ff the beach after high tide. I wasn't interested in wading to it and having a repeat of the 8' deep hole again.

We picked up today about 10am and headed in.
