Phat, I've eaten a ton of food cooked on a holland grill. It all started probably 10 years ago when one of my friends got one. Then one of my other friends ate from the other guys holland and went out and bought one....this cycle has went around a few times and now practically all of my friends have holland grills.

You are right, it is a different kind of grill that has that nice feature where you turn the gas all the way up, close door and pre-heat, add food and close door until its done (well maybe flip it in between). We always say, "if you're looking you ain't cookin." Those grills don't get much if any over 375 degrees. I'm not sure how "low" it will go but I'd bet pretty dang low, maybe 200 degrees? Don't know.

My opinion is now that you have had the holland, I seriously doubt you'll be happier with anything else. 10 more years for 25 bucks a year ain't too bad IMO. I say get the rebuild kit.

p.s. I wish I was close by to that stainless model on CL. Nice!
