Saturday morning it was 8 degrees at my house. I stepped out for a bit after unloading some firewood. When I got home 3 hours later a pipe had busted and about 15 - 20 gallons of H2O was spread nice and evenly across my floor!! Then I had to borrow a pex crimping tool from my father-in law at 10:30 pm Monday night. Had it all fixed and siding back on before 1 am!! FUN FUN FUN!!
P.S. this morning it was 14 degrees. I insulated the SH*T out of those pipes while I was in there!!

BR...hadda plumber tell me PEX wouldn't split open when frozen...said they tested section full of water and capped off in the freezer...guess he has lots to learn...
