I think thats is one of the most warped demographic out there. Most people want to believe they are middle class, but they arn't. If you read the press, the median house hold income in the us is around 49,000. I call BS. First, lets eliminate all the non working people on welfare and unemployment. Ya'll all remember from high school what the effect of one zero would have on your grade point average, adn how many perfect scores it takes to offset it. The middle class thats taking all the weight of the taxes is the 100-200,000 class before taxes(theres a lot more of them that you think). I'm not talking gross adjusted, or after deductions, or shown income. I'm talking actual greenbacks crossing your palm(or offshore bank acount). This class is getting taxed to death. These are your proffesionals, Doctors, Managers, Small Company Owners, The guys who wear off teh shelf suits as it were.The rich people that everyone is talking about are the 200,000 and up, these are the custom Italian suit guys. Problem is, these people show less income on their taxes than I do. They are the ones with the tax shelters, loopholes, investment incentives, tax caps( yeah, and whats up with that?). These are also the guys who are making the rules in washington, and paying the attourneys to keep it all legal. And yes, there are a whole lot more of them that you wold ever expect, and they are not paying their share, and never will. I have had to concede that I'm just po white trash
