I have some knowledge of that area since I grew up in NC and spent a lot of time fishing in that area and in Oregon inlet and Hatteras.
We can take one of my boats and go let me know when you want to come. I can put you up here, we have extra bedrooms and it's only me and my wife. Bring your wife, she and mine can go do the girl things.
