I managed a V-20 without ANY problems with a CHEROKEE. Brakeing can be interesting, but I didn't have trailer brakes. For short distances you will be fine. IIRC a few here have towed there V's with a little ole HONDA PILOT.
Like I said you'll be fine, heres my 88 with a 25' SEARAY in tow. Gotta watch the tongue weight though
