Default For the democrats

Click on the "permalink" and check the numbers for yourself. The writer has biased the story by narrowing the focus to Obama and Mcain. While it may be that Obama's contributions from deployed military out do McCain's by 6 to 1, the articles conclusion that the military is leaning democratic by the same margin seems to be quite a leap. If the numbers were examined by party rather than candidate it would come out like this....

Contributions from deployed military
Democrats $63,882 from 140 contributors
Republicans $76,027 from 152 contributors

For all the military
$849,219 from 1,703 contributors for Republicans and
$519,459 from 1,288 contributors for Democrats.

I'll let you all draw your own conclusions, this stuff makes my head hurt.
