I blame it on the parents.
That is what I like about Japan,
I could let my laptop case in a train station and come back about a half hour later
and it would still be in the same spot.
They are taught from young that if it is not yours, don't touch it.
I am in Tokyo right now, you should see the view from my hotel room on the 19th floor.
