Default Re: Livewells??

Ok guys after thinking this through and reading these posts I am going to go amidship with the livewell on one side and a fishbox on other. Only problem is I was wondering what will be the best material to use for it. I dont think starboard lumber would work due to I dont think it would hold the ice. I want something that would insulate good. I have found this stuff at a local plastics dealer that is anywhere from 3/4 to 2 inches thick that would work because it has a layer of dense foam in the middle, only the paper on each side of the foam is not waterproof so I would have to glass every square inch inside and out! :o what do you guys think...will starboard lumber hold ice all day in 98degree weather and will it take fiberglass because i would like to build it all into the floor on both sides???
