Seacrets No offense, but I paid less money for a pair of new Todd 1000 helm seats with slides and bases. Can you screw a 1x2 strip of starboard to each gunwhale? If so, do the same on each side of the motor cover and have a drop in cushion made for each side. Just remove the cushions and they're out of your way when you need to lift the motor cover. You could even cut starboard or plywood bases and velcro a boat throw cushion to them. You might want to consider two removable small storage boxes with cushion tops. Just my .02
