Theres a thread floating around here somewhere reagrding a member who hung a 225 HONDA on a V-20 center console. It turned out BADLY! He ended up selling the boat and buying another one and repowering with an ETEC. The new BIG 4 strokes are ALOT of weight for a hull designed around 400 pound 2 strokes.
What happened to your EVINRUDE? Maybe it's a simple fix. I just got through rebuilding one(didn't take any pics though), they are not that bad to do. You can still buy ALOT of gas for what a new engine will set you back. If your set on a 4 stroke, a 150 YAMAHA, 150 HONDA, or a 140, 150, 175 SUZUKI would be a good match
