or 2. And that is a looper MJ. All of the 200's and 225's from 86+ were loopers. 93+ had the finger ports in them which boost the upper RPM power, but OMC put smaller exhaust passages in them to help down low. The 88-92 is a good all round engine, and 86-87 can really make some power if you want to build em up and are said to be the best for economy(they are also the smallest displacement at 2.7L, 88-92 were 3L and 93+ could be a 3L or 3.3L depending upon the model).
