If you think about it what that guy did Skools is not a bad idea, he took a sea worthy displacement hull and converted it to a mini trawler. well cruise and fish all day for pennies and probably cost him very little. Probably will do 18 to 20 knots no problem.
If he had converted a bigger one with diesel would have been even better.
Anyhow I got to tell you, sailing, while much different than power boating is sweet, once out of the harbour and you set your sails and cut the engine you are part of the ocean and the elements and it is extremely enjoyable.
I would love to have a 35-40 footer.

I agree......sailing can be so peaceful and calming. You definitely become one with the sea!
My boss has a 40 foot catamaran and it is awesome! Such a smooth ride! They go out of Mystic, CT and sail around to Montauk, Block Island, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard etc for weekends and vacations.
