Unless you plan on re-jetting it, don't do it. It does more than just silence the intake noise. It also directs and restricts the airflow to the engine to balance the air fuel ratio across the RPM band. I did it to one before, ran AWESOME for about 30 seconds under load. Then all HELL let loose


. Wouldn't reccomend it on a feeshin motor. The manufacturer normally set them up pretty good for longevity and performance. @ strokes are not as forgiving as a 4 stroker.
