It was firing fine once it was running, it was getting it to run. Before stator replacement I had 0 volts on the QUIKSTART/SLOW coil, and 91 and 95 on the charge coils with the pack disconnected. I now have 200 volts coming out of the charge coils, And 18 out of the QUIKSTART/SLOW coil. So it did need the stator, but unfortunately the power pack still wouldn't go into QUIKSTART mode, and would only ocasionally fire all of the plugs on start-up. I pulled the pick-up coil off and made sure all was well with it before replacing anything, it was just bad luck I guess
