lol no it cost more to maintain a gas i have a diesel and a gas Tahoe and have had several diesels over the yrs always cheaper to maintain the diesels.
On my Diesels i drive my diesel to work daily due to the diesel gets 21 in town milage and my gas gets 12 to 14 in town. my diesel get 23 hwy but towing my v20 it gets 19 hwy. my gas gets 20 to 21 hwy but towing the v with it gets 10 mpg.
