We have an 83 V-20 Cuddy. The only way our deadwell would work is with two pumps, one to pump water in and another to pump it out. We finally stopped using the damn thing because it put too much water in the bottom of the boat. We bought a 40 gallon Kodiak livewell that sits on the deck and did all the plumbing on it. No problems ever since.
