2nd trip of the year!
Ok went out late this morning to scout some Fluke.
Left the Falmouth ramp at 9:45 am, First time at this ramp, its nice!
Got to the fishingngrounds 10 15 and met up with a friend that had been there since 4 am, Said lots of Bass early but the bite is off nw, he was heading in.
Said good buy and decided to head to a area that I have fished very little but has some possibilty? Got over there and started to Fluke, nothing!! Moved around a bit still nothing??
Moved to some Deep water and got the first Keeper Fluke of the year 18".
Banged a few more before the tide stoped, but all were comercial keepers (14 +) and its a no sell day so we have to stay ith Rec of 17 1/2.
Decided to move to a better area, get there and Bam, Bam, Bam, but all comercial >:(
Move to yet another area and get no Stripers, one 20# and one 8+ # Both keepers.
Started to catch some small Seabas and Scup, Kept a few Scup and there was no keeper Seabass.
Well now it was 1:30 wind had picked up liong ago and white caps every were and we are the only boat ( Chickens!!) So we called it a day!
So we brought home 2 Stripers, 4 Fluke, and 6 Scup Motor ran like she was brand new all day!!
i might have some pic's? I forgot the camera and used my cell for a few, and you can't see the screen in the light so I have no idea what I took??
But I worked from 10 pm last night till 8 am this morning fished, cleaned fish, cean boat and it is 6 pm, and I have to be to work at 10 pm tonight till 8 am!!
So I am off to bed and will see what i can do tomorrow with the pic's!
O yea there was a guy headed out with a V20 20" shaft motor, we waved at each other but I was to tired to hunt him down and talk to him :-/
