There is a type of parasitic isopod that I find inside the gill covers of various fish. They are pure white and get to be ~ 1" long. They look very much like miniature versions of the big fella there. Whats interesting is that their legs end in the same hooked tips. It makes them very difficult to remove. Makes me wonder what kind of surface it lives on cuz those feet weren't built for walking as much as clinging tightly to something.
