Default Re: Hello all

OK first from what I recall, the man I purchased her from owned it for 15 yrs. I think he also said he was the second owner and the first owner barely used it. Please forgive me because things he was telling me wasn't sinking in my brain because I was, and still am, in complete AWE.

He was originally asking $6800 for everything included and I knew that his asking price was way out of my reach. So I emailed him and complimented his boat(how beautiful it was) and that I couldn't stop drooling over it. I also was honest with him about my savings and he said,"why don't you come down and see it and then we can talk." So I had nothing to lose other than a $20 for gas. I went there and was in shock and could barely function. We talked and then he told me that if he didn't sell it in one week that I could have it for the amount I saved up which was $5500.

I called him the next day and he told me some other guy was there (as we speaked) looking at it and that the guy wanted to buy it for $6000, I WANTED TO THROW UP AND DIE! All I had was the $5500 and my wife said "NO MORE MONEY" I was sick to my stomach and my nerves were getting to me because I wanted this boat BADLY.

So he then tells me that he is giving this other guy until Tuesday to come up with the money :'( I couldn't eat or sleep fpr the next two days. I did the next best thing and I prayed and left it in God's hands. Tuesday night the phone rang and my wife answered and she said,"it's the man with the boat." My knees buckled and my heart sank, I just knew he was going to say,"sorry the boat was sold tonight". I picked up the phone and he said,"David, are you sitting down?" I replied," I know, you sold it to the other guy, right?" He then replied,"NO it's your boat if you want it!" OH MY GOD I yelled. And that was that, I ran down to his place the very next day with cash in hand $5500 and drove her home.

That's my story and I am sticking to it! LOL
