Default Re: 250 Sportsman Project

Well, I dropped the first big wad on the project today...

Totals to date:
Engine Parts $4.78
Trailer Parts $130.81
Misc Supplies $6.00
Gas & Oil -$180.00
Total -$38.41

I took your advice Mr. Reel and went with Kodiaks but I bought them from a local place, N.E. Marine Ind. They are only a few miles from me and they had everything I needed in stock. That included some oddball bushings and suspension hardware specific to Load-Rite that Champion didn't have. Picked it all up today so if the weather cooperates maybe I'll be able to take a test drive next week!

I went with S.S. calipers and the S-Cad vented rotors.

Anyone else using these and running the 90W oil?

macojoe, years ago I would have had the same attitude towards brakes but I'll have my kids in the car on most trips...

BTW, on your pals old 250. What did he have for power and what kind of performance did he get, and fuel burn?
