Ive gotta 470 in my vee,and been having trouble starting it when it gets hot. I could let it cool for a few minutes and it would crank on up. I checked the volts at the coil and only had 5.55 volts cold. I couldnt find the resistor wire must be on the backside of the motor. i got out there yesterday and ran a new wire from the ignition wire, which had 12 volts, to the coil. Now I got 12 volts to the coil and with the pertronics ignition it runs alot better. Ill try her out this week to see if it cured my problem.
