A different article, published by the EPA. It states that water present in the gasoline at above 0.5% will strip the ethanol and in two strokes will compete with the oil additive, which MTBE doesn't...

Please, that seems like a good place to move it. I want to change out the console on mine but really could not decide what to do with the tank. Also, what paint did you use on the floor, looks nice.
