General comment on polishing gelcoat

My boats original owner put his wife's name on the side of the boat "Crazy Leta" but removed it...

Interesting. My 88' has black plastic moulding around the consoles. I sanded my trak seats in the back (actually planed them because they were so bad) and applied two or three coats of teak oil....

What did you stain your teak with cause it sure doesn't look like teak? And my trim around the consoles is black plastic. How did you get yours a color - did you replace it with wood?
