Water in gas
Great information, the water was driving me crazy, I'm off to get some Startron for the gas. I wonder how many cars are going to have frozen gas lines this winter?.............

My Mercury telltale is very hot also but today I bought a IR thermometer, ran it around the lake a few times at 4600 rpm stopped the boat put it in neutral popped the cover open and the head...

I have been reading the new formulation of gas with the ethanol will attract moisture in the gas. So when we got home from a ride today to see if the over heat problem was fixed, I pulled the filter...

I just replaced mine. After it warmed up it idles better than ever. After 15 minutes or so on the muffs you can still stick your hand on top of the head for about 30 seconds or so. Monday I'll take...

Best Method to fix a cracked Transom
I posted on the first page with links for seacast, our 74 has a seacast transom, I'm running a 150 with jackplate, I'll never have to replace it because of rot..................
