Mercury Pee Hole ?
1988 Mercury Black Max 175
Water seems to be circulating fine.
I have never owned a mercury before.
At idle should the water that shoots out the pee hole be a little warmer then others...

I had the 3.7 190hp. Also know as the 470. The motor is decent but they did not have alternators and the cooling systems is expense and know to have problems. They had problems with the front seal...

I don't mind dropping my anchor but this makes it same like it would be much easier.

i used to drive on of those when I was stationed in florida. They are though. But the 24 volt system is something to keep in mind. Do you think that old diesel will really get 18 miles per gallon?
