Mine had plastic angle that was all tore up. I did the same thing you did then I waxed it real good with a candlestick to help keep it easy to open and close.

My I/O does the same thing TILL I trim the motor up a bit while underway above planning speed. Then it's all good. My anode it turned to the max.

I'm here on the East Coast of Florida near Stuart.
Boat ramp is two mintues away but, the Gulfstream from the inlet is a 20 mile ride.

My Dad used AwlGrip on his ol"ChrisC.. Stuff is tough as nails and made the boat look like new...and he brushed it...

When I replaced the floor on my 16'Bonito I poured two part clsed cell foam to fill twiz the hull and floor thruout. It really helped solidfy the hull but, didn't help a bit keeping it from sinking....

I made a door of sorts to keep my neighbors cat out of the cabin. I used 1/4 ply. Nuttin' fancy but, does the job.

There's no way I could sell the package for 7. Too many great deals out there.

I've had this V out in all kinds of weather and seas up to 8' which was very sketchy gettin' through. I've learned to pick my days where I usually just go 15-29 miles w/o worry.
