13 deg is what wellcraft says my 84 cuddy is, i'm sure your 86 is also, or close. Wellcraft says find a bracket that close like 11 to 14. tom at wellcraft told me... You could always use shims thats...

yes with alittle help from a engine hoist i have. cleaned the foam out all 4 sides, took out the fuel sending unit and put a large bolt sideways thru that hole and pulled up, it came out. It went in...

The key is your pump ball, if its between the water seperator and the engine than disconnect at engine. If its between tank and water seperater disconnect at water seperator. You need the pump ball...
