I can't get to the relay until the motor is up...
I can't get to the relay until the motor is up but I hope your right!!! I cant believe the motor would just quit all of a sudden.... without slowing down or making any noises when it worked perfect...

I am going to try to grind a semi groove on the side of the screw thats all chewed up and get a bigger screwdriver on it with a hammer if that dont work im going to drill into the center with a left...

easy out a manual release valve on trim?
anybody ever tackle this job??? Had the chris craft out for the 1st time with my new to me 1998 225 oceanrunner. Ran great for about 1.5 hour cruise !!! gps read 50 mph wot 5800 rpm.... cruised...

quick start
I'm pretty sure your engine should have the quick start feature which automatically adjust the idle at startup it idles high till the engine warms up then it should go down in rpm's,and if the engine...

cuddy slider idea
Been thinking real hard about how to get the forward sliding cuddy to not leak....It isnt that big a deal but a big wave over the cuddy will overflow the drain rails and I just carpeted the inside...

out with the old in with the newer!
replace my 235 johnson with a 1998 225 oceanrunner engine runs great got it cheap!! weighs 455 as compared to 400 with the older motor but hopefully a little more reliable ...pics to follow ...any...
