That vehicle should stop the boat easily but the rule of thumb with trailer brakes is you don't need them until you really need them. High speed stopping you'll wish you had them when that boat comes...

its been painted prior and was a wreck. Chipping and flaking which I've managed to remove but need to repaint because the blue from the bottom paint bled into the gelcoat

within alot of the old drill cases is a drill index that will give you tap clearance sizes etc.. i got an old steel one from Radnor with all the info punched into the holding brackets.
