Who's in?

I put in 4/28 and have been out twice since. Everything seems to be working fine, except the thottle gets stuck just past idle sometimes. Annoying when the motor is gasping. Most of the time I just...

Re: what do you think of sea drive outboards

I did what MJ mentioned. I assumed I was buying the hull and figured the period that the Sea Drive stayed alive was gravy. Like I said, it was still running when i had it removed, may she rest in...

It's an '86. The deck is solid. The above tank panel flexes a little under 160lbs of load.

Re: Quahog for sale here only

I thought about you first Brian, but I know you're making progress on your own boat now. It's an '86, it has the round livewell at the stern and rectangular one in the center with a pump. It's been...

Quahog for sale here only

Okay, IF someone on this site wants to buy Quahog for $8,500 I'll sell her. I'm not listing her anywhere else and I'm not desperate to sell. However, I would like to buy something set up more for...

Re: Still Love the Site

The great news is Quahog has gotten A LOT of use this year, every weekend that we're here. It's caught more fish than ever and sank more beers/juice boxes than ever. That's what it's all about. Plus,...

Re: Boat Cover

For what it's worth, I needed two poles on mine. I have one in the middle with a hole stitched in the cover for it and I bought a second one at Overtons to prevent the constant pooling I got near the...

I didn't do mine by myself, but if you go to Armstrong's webpage there are instructions and diagrams there for measuring.

Re: More project pics.

Shicks, the boat looks great. My kids use the bow rail too when we're at anchor and they're sitting up there. Why was the cleat so hard? My '86 has laughable cleats that I'd like to replace with...

Re: Dual Battery Setup?

Mine continue to sit unsecured and uncovered on the shelves with water draining out of the cockpit directly onto them before it drains to the bilge. Hasn't caused any problems and I'm into the second...

Re: What year for scuppers?

The full cover came with my boat and I attribute my hulls lack of soft deck areas, shot stringers (so far as I know) and just general good condition for a 20 year old hull to keeping the darn water...
