Well, the outdrive will be delayed until the end of the month, but I did get some other stuff done. I rassled the lower part of the water pump from the lower gear case, I installed a brand new...

It's a '78 898 (305 chebby). I think I'm just gonna go ahead and replace the whole dad-burned thing. I know I'll feel better about it. Thanks a ton boys.

Looks like the upper gear box grenading has saved me an engine. Sheeze, I better triple check everything before splash down this spring.

I was trying to save a few bucks, but then again, it's cheap in comparison. I don't mind getting a whole new pump, but how does that lower housing come off?

If I had to slow down every time I came by a tied up boat, I wouldn't get anywhere. I mind the no wake areas, after that, BTW baby! Ol' boy needs to get a lift, or learn how to tie up his Bayliner.
